A form of silica, composed of very fine intergrowths of the minerals quartz and morganite. These are both silica minerals, but they differ in that quartz has a trigonal crystal structure, while moganite is monoclinic.

Chalcedony is a variety of the mineral quartz that occurs in a great variety of colors inlcuding blue, lavender, white, grey, yellow, pink, red …. If chalcedony is conspicuously color-banded, it may be called agate and with other minerals.
Considered a sacred stone by the Native American Indians, chalcedony nurtures and promotes brotherhood and good will.

The beautiful finnish cordierite brings my mind a january frost day bluey.

The beautiful bluepurple colour is stimulating the third eye. The finnish kordierite can be used also to open the deeper sight and understand the differencies between ascetic and luxury life. FLUORITE - MINERAL

FLUORITE

Fluorite, comes in striped colors of mainly purple-red, dark blue, and yellow and all variations. The name supposedly comes from what the French miners of the past called it “bleu-jaune” meaning blue-yellow. It’s reputedly the most expensive and prized fluorite in the world. Roman legend says that drinking alcoholic beverages from cups or bowls of fluoritr kept away drunkenness.

It is especially good for bringing succor and relief to sensitives and mediums who give too much or take too much in. It is said to bring renewal and energy, as well as strength, health and well-being. Fluorite is said to be a catalyst for personal growth, encouraging experimenting, exploring, and understanding. It is a strong teaching and learning stone because of this. It is reputed to work very well with Magnetite for aligning the spine in polarization.
